Miracle Friday

Feliz Marzo!!

We got our transfer news! Hermana Curbelo and I will be staying here in Solano, and Hermana Morgan is being transferred to another area. I'm excited to stay in Solano for another transfer. I truly love this area with my whole heart. The people are incredible!

On Friday, we went to a library in our area to do our language study. As we were leaving, a man came up to us and asked what church we are from. We started talking to him and explained a little bit about what we believe. His name was Ramon, and he spoke English. He said that he had actually been searching for religion, and asked if we had a Bible. We only had Bibles in Spanish, but we had a Book of Mormon in English. We asked if he would be interested in one, and he said yes! We gave him one and gave him our number. We invited him to start reading, and he said that he would give us a call! Later in the day, we went to Barnles and Noble to do our companionship study. As we were leaving, a man walked up to us and said that he noticed our missionary tags. His name was William. He spoke Spanish, and asked us to share a message with him. We shared a quick version of the Restoration of the Gospel, and he said that he wanted to learn more! He didn't know when a good day would be for a visit, so we got his number and told him that we would call him. It was amazing! God truly is so mindful of each of His children. He made sure that we were in the right place at the right time for Ramon and William.

Our bishop's daughter was baptized last Saturday. It was amazing to be there for her baptism. They are such a cute family!!

During a few lessons that we had with some ward members recently, they said that they feel bad that they can't keep all of the commandments perfectly. They feel unfaithful to Christ. As I was reading in Following Christ last week, it talked about how faithfulness does not equal sinlessness. We are mortal, which means that we will sin. God knows this. That's why repentance is part of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Being faithful does not mean being perfect. To be faithful means to be loyal to Christ above all else. We invited the members in our ward to remember that repentence is a commandment. Therefore, as long as we repent, we are keeping the commandments. As long as Christ comes first in our lives, we are considered faithful. Please never forget this! He loves you, and He is always there for you with outstretched arms.

I love you all!

Con Amor,
Hermana Kendrick
